The New YULA.org is Live!

We are very excited to announce the launch of our brand new website, http://www.yula.org, redesigned from the ground up. Please take some time to explore all the areas for yourself, as there is a treasure trove of information and resources available online for the first time.

We would like to point out a few specific areas:

School-Specific Sites:  If you would prefer to go directly to the Boys or Girls School website rather than the main home page, you can use http://www.yulaboys.org or http://www.yulagirls.org as well.

Portals -  Are you a Future Student, Current Student, Parent, or Alum? Simply click on one of four black Portal buttons -- directly under the rotating stories, on the left-hand side -- and you will be taken to a simple view of content just for you. Some pages are just convenient links to other parts of the site, and some are specific content that can only be found in the Portal.

Quick Links - At the very top of the website, you will see some links provided to the various YULA systems such as Haiku, NetClassroom, and, coming in the fall, an online library catalog! They are conveniently available on all the site pages so you never have to hunt for them.

Calendars - Several calendars are placed throughout the site, such as an Academic Calendar, Athletics Calendar, Admissions Calendar, and more. Clicking the "Show All" link under any calendar will show useful options such as printer-friendly pages, RSS and iCal subscription buttons. Those formats are supported on both Mac and PC. A central calendar that aggregates all other calendars is located under "About YULA."

News - Similar to calendars, there are several types of news available throughout the site. There is a main news page under "About YULA," in addition to specific news modules for Athletics and Support YULA.They can also be subscribed to via RSS.

Our site is, and by nature always will be, a work in progress… there is always more to add, including details on the history of our school, more photos, and articles. We invite the YULA community of students, parents, and alumni to contribute to our website by taking and sending in photos, writing, contributing high school memories, and more. To help us make our website the go-to destination for the entire YULA community as well as prospective families, please email Development and Marketing Manager Joanne Helperin at jhelperin@yula.org.

We sincerely hope the YULA community enjoys the new resources that the website provides. If you have any questions or comments about the website, please send an email to webmaster@yula.org

Thanks,
