Varsity Basketball Moves their Record to 6-0

YULA had an 18-4 run to start the game. Zack Wasserman had three straight 3’s that required Shalhevet to call a timeout. The Firehawks switched to a press and was able to push the tempo and create turnovers. At one stretch YULA had four straight possession that resulted in turnovers. Shalhevet was able to capitalize and close the quarter with a 6-2 run. At the end of the 1st quarter, the score was 20-10. YULA never relinquished that 10-point lead. At the start of the 4th quarter, the score was 39-28. YULA picked up its effort on the defensive end and held Shalhevet to only four points. Final score was 52-32. Jack Gindi had a great game with 16 points, 13 rebounds and five assists. Yisroel Solomon and Zack Wasserman each added 11 points. Including the Cooper Invitational, your YULA Panthers have won 10 straight games!
